The story
The first version, in 2024, ran on Express with a MySQL database and an admin area to publish articles. A lot of moving parts for a site that rarely changes.
This one is built once and served by nginx with no database and no account: less attack surface, and nothing to patch at night. Each project has its own topographic map, drawn from its name.
What I did
- French and English pages generated from data files
- A generated topographic map for each project
- Printable résumé built from the same data
- Strict content security policy, no third-party scripts
